Alex Mitrovic serves as a Senior Advisor for Sperry Van Ness specializing in retail leasing and tenant representation throughout the Chicago Metro market. With over five years of experience in the business, Alex provides expertise in a wide variety of real estate services for retail owners, developers, and tenants. Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness, Mitrovic served as retail specialist for Metro Commercial Real Estate. His clients benefit from his extensive market knowledge and experience in sale and lease negotiations. Among others, Mitrovic leased the ground-up retail projects for Ryan Development, V-Land Corp, IBT Group, the Bond Companies, Klaff Realty, R N Realty, and BK Development. Alex played an integral part in the marketing and leasing of the following new retail developments: Brookside Marketplace (Tinley Park, IL) 466,546 square feet; South Elgin Crossing (South Elgin, IL) 250,000 square feet; Wal-Mart Center (Algonquin, IL) 250,000 square feet; Main Street Marketplace (Evanston, IL) 250,000 square feet; Valparaiso Walk (Valparaiso, IN) 145,000 square feet; Food-4-Less Plaza (Melrose Park, IL) 120,000 square feet; Glenview Plaza (Glenview, IL) 16,000 square feet. Alex represented Luxottica Retail (LensCrafters / Sunglass Hut / Sears Optical), the Knowledge Learning Corporation, and Reavy Physical Therapy in their Chicago area expansions / site search.
