Chris Irwin serves as a managing director for Sperry Van Ness, LLC, specializing in the sale and leasing of retail property throughout Chicago, Illinois. With more than six years experience, Irwin has successfully completed more than 200 transactions throughout Chicago. In 2007, Irwin was voted Broker of the Year for Retail Leasing by the Chicago Association of Realtors. Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness, Irwin served with SR Commercial in Chicago. Irwin signed on to SR Commercial as the firm's first sales associate and went on to help form the firms commercial division. As an accomplished broker Irwin has also received several other awards including: Top Producer in 2004 and 2006. Previously Irwin was a Midwest Regional Sales and Marketing Manager for nationally branded companies such as Brach Candy Co., Gardenburger Inc., Dannon Yogurt and E&J Gallo Wines. Irwin is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and NEXT GENERATION; ICSC's educational, networking and mentoring program for retail real estate professionals seeking to develop their careers and build relationships within the shopping center industry. Irwin is also a member of the Edgewater Uptown Builders Association (EUBA), the Lakeview Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and the Lakeview Chamber of Commerce Planning and Development Committee. Irwin earned bachelors degree from Indiana University.
