In 2008 Chapdelaine formed The Chapdelaine Group of Sperry Van Ness to offer a full slate of add value services to owners of office space in the Chicagoland area. Our team has a long track record of Investment Sales with office & medical office properties, focusing on private equity transactions between $1 millon and $20 million. His clients include the most active local and national buyers of commercial office space. Simultaneously, Matts access to tenants through our Leasing and Tenant Recruitment platform helps keeps buildings well occupied at market rents. With more than six years of commercial real estate experience, Matt has completed transactions valuing in excess of $80 million in the previous three years.Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness, Chapdelaine served as an office advisor for Marcus & Millichap, a national firm focusing solely on commercial sales of cash flowing assets.Previously, Matt provided underwriting and due diligence support at Deloitte for Real Estate Investment Trusts in their acquisition of Office Buildings and Shopping Malls across the country. Matt aided financial due diligence for such noted REIT's as Transwestern, General Growth Properties, Trizec (now RREEF) and Opus Development as his clients underwrote the sale of more than $1B (over 4 Million SF) in transactions. Matt graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2001 with honors in Accounting and International Politics. He is licensed in Illinois and currently resides in the Old Town neighborhood of Chicago.
